Power of Sacrifice

John 12:24 - I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

Even King David knew that to give to God something that cost us nothing -- was worth nothing.

2 Samuel 24:23-24: "‘Everything, O king, Araunah gives to the king.' And Araunah said to the king, ‘May the Lord your God accept you.' However, the king said to Araunah, ‘No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price, for I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God which cost me nothing.'"
